About Me

ABOUT ME

My career goal is to pursue a DevSecOps career combining Development, Security, and Operator/Integration. By implementing DevOps tools and practices through continuous automation with security in mind, manual tasks will become streamlined effectively and efficiently. I am interested in learning more about Quantum Computing, Cryptography, and how Cybersecurity will play a significant role in the world as technology advances. After finishing my M.S. in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University, I plan to apply for a Ph.D. in Quantum Science and Engineering in the Post-Quantum Cryptography field.

Quantum Computing

Educational Interest

During the Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership program's physics course, I first learned about quantum mechanics. I also learned how that topic relates to computing which leads to optimization enhancements and cybersecurity concerns. Since then, I looked for opportunities to get more involved in the Quantum Computing community. I have taken quantum computing courses as part of the MIT xPRO program, MITRE's educational programs, and as a teacher's assistant at MIT Beaverworks for students. I am looking at Harvard University's Quantum Science and Engineering Ph.d. program.

CYBER SECURITY

Professional Interest

I've had an interest in Cybersecurity ever since I was a Teacher's Assistant under Professor Mello-Stark Freshmen year of college. I worked at the Frontier's GenCyber Cybersecurity Camp for High School students at WPI. The summer of my sophomore year, I interned Ataata, a startup in Crystal City, VA to combat Human Error in the workforce. The summer of my Junior year I worked at CyberArk in Newton, MA creating plugins to incorporate our product with other partners. For my MQP Spring of my senior year, I worked in a group of three to implement an appication to inject faults into systems to check for dependencies. My goal is to use my experience as a Computer Science major and knowledge in Cybersecurity to work for the government or in the private sector. I plan to receive a Masters in Science in Cybersecurity at Northeastern '23 and continue my education with a PhD in the cyber field.

MEN'S VARSITY ROWING

Health & Fitness

I have been rowing since my freshmen year of high school in Glastonbury, CT and all through college at WPI. I have experience rowing in an eight, four, double, pair and I have also skulled. I mostly enjoy rowing in a four, which requires intense focus, balance and synchronicity throughout the boat. I prefer bow or strokesman which means I can row on port and starboard side.

ALPHA CHI RHO ΔΣΦ FRATERNITY

Greek Life - Social Officer & Executive Council Representitive

Being in a social fraternity is about brotherhood. I feel a special bond and connection with my brothers. My leadership position in the fraternity was as the Social Officer, who's role was to organize social gatherings and be a representative on the executive council.

ARRANGING MUSIC

Personal Interest

Ever since I started to learn the piano in 5th grade, I've been composing sheet music and constructing orchestral arrangements using the program Finale by MakeMusic. My complex arrangements include, "Don't Stop Belivin'" by Journey, "Gracie" by Ben Folds and "Game of Thrones Tribute". I have played in my high school's orchestra and chamber orchestra performing on the Cello. I have participated in the Connecticut Eastern Region Music Fesivals and have also studied and performed in the Hartt School of Music. I enjoy playing the Trumpet, Violin and Guitar on the side.

Senior DevOps Engineer

May 2022 - Present

At MITRE, we solve problems for a safer world. Through our federally funded R&D centers and public-private partnerships, we work across government to tackle challenges to the safety, stability, and well-being of our nation. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, I am assisting the Systems Infrastructure and Operations group within the Enterprise Computing Information and Security which provides and advances comprehensive and reliable systems and services for technical, business and project communities at MITRE corp.

Software Engineer II

June 2018 - May 2022

Raytheon Technologies is a principal U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics. I work at the Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Located in Tewksbury, MA. I am on the Zumwalt-Class Destroyer Program, and previously worked on the DevOps Micro Learning Team and the Dual-Band Radar Program with various projects. I am working on Deployment and Regression Testing using the DevOps applications Ansible, Git, Docker, Jenkins and Clearcase. This also required business travel working on site.

Resource Plugin Developer

Summer 2017

Located in Newton, MA, I helped the Alliance Technology Business Development team to create integration plugins to manage privileged accounts with our partners and vendors. In the languages of Python and Java, we connected CyberArk's platform to its partners. Actions included to enable or disable a user, modigy the security level and access to their credentials. This can be used by their employers to monitor. I used SkyTap virtual environment to create the Response Manage Plugin.

Design Associate/Customer Success

Summer 2016 ; Spring 2018

It is located at in Arlington, VA. As the"Antidote for Human Error", Ataata is a company that educates employees on security threats that can be overlooked or unaware by most workers. I worked under Michael Madon as the Design Associate at Ataata. I helped design and build the initial website and product for the new startup. I am currently working remotely under Mike Crouse to help with Customer Success, working on improving product performance and client experience.

Teacher Assistant

Summer 2015

In Worcester at WPI I assisted Professor Suzanne Mello-Stark to teach a summer cybersecurity camp course for highschool students. We educated students to ideas from passwords and online privacy to ethics of cyber issues. The course included techniques on password cracking, cryptography and steganography.

“Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
